Presentation on Quantitative Equity by Xi Li on June 14th

Xi Li is one of our senior Boston members. He has worked as both a professor and a practitioner. He will leave for Hong Kong University of Science and Technology to become a professor in its business school. We would like to invite him for a presentation on global macro quantitative equity and especially investing in quality stocks to Boston members before he takes off. Xi Li is the managing partner of XL Partners and a visiting fellow at Boston College.  He worked for Acadian Asset Management and State Street Global Advisors and taught MBAs at Boston University, University of Miami, and Vanderbilt.  He advocates combing global macro analysis with quant investing, with a blog at http://xlpartners.blogspot.com/.  He has published in prestigious academic and practitioner journals such as Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Quantitative and Financial Analysis, Financial Analysts Journal, and Journal of Portfolio Management.  His research has won awards such as Chicago Quantitative Alliance Best Paper Competition, Financial Management Association Annual Dissertation Award, and FMA European Conference Best Paper Award.
