Maggie Jiang is currently SVP of Corporate Banking with Bank of China New York Branch,
her responsibilities include lending to corporations in cross border M&A, Project Finance,
and Structured Finance throughout U.S., Canada, Latin America and South America.
Ms. Jiang was formerly senior Director at Credit Suisse, an expert in structured finance
and primary debt capital market, where she helped facilitating public, private, or
syndicated transactions for various types of institutional investors. She covered large
frequent issuers, opportunistic hedge funds, financial intermediaries, start-ups, and one-
off special projects related to M&A. Her expertise spreads through a wide range of
spectrum: origination, structuring, risk assessment, funding, advisory, and internal credit
approval, for billions of assets. Prior to Credit Suisse, Ms. Jiang held various positions at
Barclays Capital, CitiGroup. She was China Market Committee Co-Chair for the
Structured Finance Industry Group and was part of the leadership team that published
the securitization whitepaper for the China market. She also spoke at several industry
conferences.
Ms. Jiang currently is a TCFA Board Director. She has been a long-time core member,
and has made valuable contributions in her role as executive team member, New York
Chapter Chair, former TCFA President, former President-Elect, and board member for
several terms.
Ms. Jiang has worked tirelessly to organize many key events that differentiate TCFA
from other organizations, and promote the TCFA brand and member loyalty. She
continuously brings in and maintains several large institutional relationships for strategic
alliance, e.g., she led Lunar New Year Celebration with Bloomberg Pan Asian Community
three years in a row, two China Bond Market Roundtable with S&P, and three career
panels at Rutgers University, etc.. Ms. Jiang is also a strong supporter of young students
and women in the work place.
Ms. Jiang also sits in the Audit Committee and serves on the board of The Family Center,
a non-profit organization based in Brooklyn, NYC, which helps less privileged new
Yorkers at times of family difficulties and stresses, facilitating aids treatment, mental
health clinic, and pro bono housing services, etc.
