Maggie Wang is a Managing Director and the Global Head of CLO and Private Credit Strategy at Citigroup. She launched her financial career at J.P. Morgan in 2007 as a research analyst, leading the US CLO and CDO research team before joining Citigroup in 2014. Maggie advises over 900 global institutional clients—including banks, insurers, pension funds, hedge funds, private equity firms, and family offices—on fixed-income investments. A top-ranked analyst in the All-American Institutional Investors survey since 2007, she is frequently featured in Bloomberg, the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, and Barron’s, and regularly speaks at major global conferences.
Maggie is committed to community service and philanthropy. She is the president-elect of The Chinese Finance Association (TCFA) and the Dean’s Council of Weill Cornell Medicine. Previously, she was co-president of the PTA and a member of the school leadership team at the Lower Lab School in New York City. Additionally, Maggie sits on the Diversity Committee of Citi Global Research and helped launch the Junior Women in Markets (JWIM) Program at J.P. Morgan.
Maggie holds a master’s degree in Computer System Engineering from Boston University, where she was a Ph.D. fellow, and a bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in China.
